【Èze village】エズ村／ニースから２５分で行ける観光名所
4月の土曜日、ニースからバイクで25分のところにある“鷲の巣村”（山にかくれるように作られた村）と言われる村の一つ、エズ（Èze）に行ってきました。今回は夫婦2人で。

Recommendation： View of the Mediterranean sea
Today, my wife and I went to Eze, a village built on top of a mountain in front of the Mediterranean sea. We first went to make sure the bikes tire pressure was OK, and fill in the tank. We then headed to buy sandwhiches in a nearby baker's shop that we sometimes go to and were on our way to Eze.
From that point on I started using my new camera for the first time until I realized that it was in loop recording mode or something, where the recording automatically stops after a few minutes, and new recordings are made on top of the older ones. So we have no recording of the way to Eze.
We went to Eze without any problem and walked in the old village, which is full of little shops all built in old stones. Everything is beautiful in there and the view was incredible.
There is an "exotic garden" on top, which we did not enter because it costs 6 euros per person and we are cheap people who just wanna ride; exceptionnally me. We then ate our sandwhiches before the old church, looking at the moutains and houses in front of it.
The wheather getting a little cloudy and windy, we decided to walk back to the bike and decided to go on our way home, passing by Cap d'Ail -- which makes a little bit of detour --, Beaulieu-sur-Mer where we stopped to take a few pictures, Villefranche-sur-Mer and back to Nice.

ニースからエズへ。行きは山、帰りは海沿いを通って。
手持ちのガイドブック（めちゃ古い）によると、ニースからエズまでは列車で15分+村まで徒歩1時間半（要運動靴）とありましたが、バイクで行くと混んでいなければ25分程。行きは山道、帰りは海沿いの道を行きました。少し曇天でしたがとても気持ちよかったです。
これは帰路途中のボーリュー＝シュル＝メール（Beaulieu-sur-Mer）の近く（後記ルートマップのD）。左下のトンネルはSNCF（フランス国鉄）の線路が走っています。
エズの村入口からの景色。駐車場が絶賛工事中でしたが、向こうに見える岩肌むき出しの山がすごかったです。

村に入って少し坂を登るとこの景観。最高。この日は雲がありましたが、晴天であれば更なる絶景だったことでしょう。
古い石で造られた建物でできた村の中は、画廊やレストラン、ショップがいっぱい。路地という路地に店があるので、食事や土産物購入には事欠かないでしょう。
まだ夏の本格的なバカンスシーズン前のせいか、人はそこそこいるものの静かな雰囲気でした。迷路のような街並みが楽しいです。

5つ星ホテル「シャトー・ド・ラ・シェーブル・ドール」の庭園も垣間見。
村の入口からすでに存在感を出しまくっている5つ星ホテル「シャトー・ド・ラ・シェーブル・ドール
（Château de la Chèvre d'or）」（金のヤギの城）の庭園も、坂の上から垣間見ることができます。金属の動物がいっぱい。
熱帯庭園（Le jardin exotique d’Eze）もあります。
我々、入園料６€をケチって入っていませんが、エズの村頂上には熱帯庭園があります。観光でいらした方は、展望台にあがると思って入ってみてはいかがでしょうか。

Route Map（ニース→エズ）
ニース中心部のマセナ広場をスタート地点としたルートマップです。
今回写真は撮れませんでしたが、Bのエズ手前、車道脇に「ビュー・ポイント」と書かれた看板とともに軽飲食移動販売車+休憩ゾーンがありました。見える景色は確かに絶景。またこの道を通ったらぜひ写真を撮るつもり。
